KS3 Curriculum
Students at BBG Academy study a 3 year Key Stage 3 that covers the National Curriculum. Along with this students are challenged to learn in different ways in our Year 7 Resilience Curriculum. The resilience curriculum continues into Year 8 and Year 9 when students take part in Applied Resilience sessions where they use all they learned about Resilience in Year 7 to master options they have chosen that are beyond the normal curriculum for the year.
Year 9 pupils have the opportunity to study pre-options with the aim of engaging, inspiring and up-skilling students so that they are enthusiastic about their option choices and prepared for success. All courses that are offered at GCSE can be studied at Year 9 pre-option level.
